Ziff Davis Names New EVP for Tech Media Division

April 24, 2024 : Ziff Davis, a leading digital media and internet company, announced the appointment of Kate Gutman as Executive Vice President and General Manager of its technology media group. This key leadership position encompasses prominent tech-focused brands such as PCMag, Mashable, Lifehacker, and Spiceworks. Ms. Gutman will report directly to Steve Horowitz, President of Ziff Davis’ Technology and Shopping Division.

Her appointment leverages Ms. Gutman’s extensive experience in the digital media landscape, with a proven track record in audience development and editorial leadership. Throughout her career, she has held senior roles in digital and business strategy for renowned organizations, including Reader’s Digest/Trusted Brands, Rodale, Bertelsmann, and Lagardère Group. Additionally, Ms. Gutman holds an MBA in Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University, demonstrating a strong academic foundation for business acumen.
